Saraswati Learning Centre Renews Certified Autism Centre Designation, Strengthening Inclusive Education and Student Support in Indonesia.
The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) announces that Saraswati Learning Centre renews its Certified Autism Centre (CAC) designation. This renewal recognises the center’s commitment to strengthening accessibility, advancing staff training. It supports an educational environment for autistic students and those with developmental differences.

As part of the certification renewal process, 100% of Saraswati Learning Centre’s instructional and therapy staff undergo specialised autism and sensory-sensitivity training through IBCCES. The renewal process also includes an onsite review conducted by IBCCES to assess key areas and provide recommendations that support a more accessible and sensory-inclusive environment. Together, the training and onsite review help ensure staff are better prepared to support students across educational, therapeutic and daily learning settings.
Through the CAC designation, Saraswati Learning Centre supports students through a child-centred, rights-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approach. The centre provides early intervention, specialised therapies, individualized education plans and vocational readiness programmes. These are designed to support each student’s learning, independence, self-advocacy, life skills and participation in family, school and community life.
Located in central Jakarta, Saraswati Learning Centre provides accessible facilities designed to support students with diverse learning and mobility needs. The school includes bright classrooms, therapy spaces, sensory regulation areas, calming corners, wide corridors, wheelchair-accessible areas and a playground that supports physical activity and social interaction.
The centre also uses adaptive learning materials, visual communication systems, tactile learning aids, interactive educational tools, individualised sensory supports and adaptive sports such as bocce. Staff members also support students who communicate through sign language, while parents and caregivers are included through regular meetings, workshops, and collaboration with teachers and therapists.
The CAC renewal reflects Saraswati Learning Centre’s commitment to staff development, individualised student support, accessibility and inclusive education. By completing IBCCES training, certification and onsite review requirements, the centre supports an educational environment that adapts to student’s needs..
