GE Vernova has announced its plans for CIGRE Paris 2026, one of the world’s leading gatherings for electricity transmission and power-system experts, taking place August 23–28.
Electricity demand is accelerating around the world, driven by economic growth, industrial electrification and new large loads such as AI and datacentres. At the same time, more generation is connecting to power systems and electricity networks are becoming increasingly complex. Meeting this growth will require not only more generation, but also the infrastructure needed to move, manage and deliver electricity reliably from where it is produced to where it is needed.
At CIGRE 2026, GE Vernova will focus on how its technologies can work together as integrated systems to address customer challenges, from expanding transmission capacity and maintaining grid stability to connecting large new loads such as datacentres and energy-intensive industries.
GE Vernova’s engineering leadership and technical experts will be present at Stand C93, ready to provide deeper insights into these solutions and discuss how we are partnering with customers to modernize the grid. Our full schedule of technical seminars and book one-on-one sessions with our experts to discuss the future of the grid.
